Kate Wears Burgandy Paule Ka Skirt Suit to Middle Temple Treasury

William and Kate visited the historic Middle Temple Treasury (one of the four ancient Inns of Court entitled to call their members to the English bar to practice as barristers) to launch a scholarship for law students from disadvantaged backgrounds in their name.

Middle Temple already offers financial help in the form of scholarship funds set up in memory of the late Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother and Diana, Princess of Wales. This new scheme builds on that legacy. The scholarships are paid for out of the Temple’s own funds.

The royal couple met the first recipients of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge scholarship.

Kate's wrapped up against the London chill in a burgundy wool skirt suit by by Paule Ka. The jacket is double-breasted jacket and the skirt is ribbed. It is shorter than we're used to seeing from the Duchess. Beneath the jacket, peeked a black lace top.

She accessorized with thick black tights, her black suede Episode 'Angel’ heels and a new pair of earrings (not ID'ed yet).

Additional Information on Paule Ka

This is the first time we've seen Kate wear Paule Ka to an official engagement. Paule Ka is a French brand founded by stylist Serge Cajfinger in 1988 and is famous for skirt suits and sharp shapes inspired by Jackie Kennedy and Audrey Hepburn. www.pauleka.com/
