Commemorative Stamps Mark Prince George's Birth

To celebrate the momentous occasion of Prince George's Birth, the Isle of Man Post Office is the first postal administration to mark the third in line to the throne's birth as they release a sheet of eight stamps congratulating William and Kate.

The set includes four stamps showing the proud father and four of a smiling Kate. A gold-foil postmark with the words "It's A Boy" will be used to cancel the stamps when the postal tribute is released on August 21 with a limited numbered edition of 500.

The Isle of Man is now offering a number of options in addition to the one above.
 
 
The first is a silver-foiled commemorative envelope. The cover features the William and Catherine reprint stamps and announcement label. Enclosed, is a full-color information card with a specially-commissioned text by author, Claudia Joseph.
 
 
The second is a mint reprint William and Catherine sheet, a gold-foil 'It's A Boy' 22rd July postmarked cover and fully-authenticated signed announcement card. Included is a specially-commissioned text by author, Claudia Joseph. This is a limited edition of 500.
 
 
Last but not least there is a Reprint Cover. This is a postmarked special commemorative envelope. The cover features the William and Catherine reprint stamps and announcement label. Enclosed, is a black & white dedicated information card with specially-commissioned text by author, Claudia Joseph.
