William & Kate Celebrate British Talent in New York at Creativity is GREAT Reception

On Tuesday afternoon, William and Kate continued their whirlwind tour of New York. They attended the Creativity is GREAT reception at NeueHouse in Gramercy, Manhattan to celebrate British talent in New York.

The event focuses on the wealth of British talent in the film, fashion, music & art industries based in New York. It was held in association with the UK Government's GREAT campaign, which aims to promote the UK internationally as a place to visit, study and do business.

The couple chatted with guests including actor Sir Patrick Stewart, Glenda Bailey, editor-in-chief of Harper’s Bazaar, Amanda berry, chief executive of Bafta, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, media mogul Harvey Weinstein, and his Marchesa designer wife Georgina Chapman, and author Imogen Lloyd-Webber, daughter of the musicals composer Lord Lloyd-Webber.

Then, they sat down to a luncheon which featured a selection of UK favorites.

For the second time on this trip, The Duchess of Cambridge, wore dress by maternity label Seraphine. Today, she chose the simple black turtleneck 'Vanessa' dress. The frock retails for an affordable $99 but notes that 'due to extremely high demand, orders placed now will be dispatched during the second week of January.'
